WOW! SO! I have been gone a while ( again ) and I haven't drawn comics in a while! I was mostly working on an animated series ( RUDE FRUIT - check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hDm_kouQ_Q ) and been going through some personal life/art ordeals. (Y'know, normal artist things.)
I was supposed to be teaching a 2D Animation class this upcoming semester which had me stressed to levels I've never been before. BUT! I am no longer teaching and, instead, will be a computer support specialist for the A&D department here at campus. This means my job will be significantly less tressful and hopefully I can pump out some more art. I have been primarily animating ( which takes ages ) so comics have been kind of forgotten. I feel really bad because people are still subscribing to my comics wanting more! WELL I WANT TO GIVE YOU MORE! Only issues is time/money/motivation. I don't want to get too personal but the artistic side of me has been in a major rut ( read: depression ) and I have had a hard time making ANYTHING. I feel things are looking up though so maybe I can make some more stuff ffor you wonderful people!
TL;DR You guy are awesome for being so patient with me and understanding I am only a human. ( As far as you know )
Not to get any hopes up, but I have sketched some pages of toku as well. I am also going to be at Tokyo in Tulsa for the upcoming convention, so if anyone is going to be there, look out for me!

I disappeared for almost half a year! I'm not dead (at least I think.) Being a recent graduate has brought up some interesting life challenges! I am currently going back to school for an MFA and living very meagerly ( I'll have a job come January so I can eat, yay!). I've been beating myself up over the Toku hiatus and dealt with a lot of psychological and art issues which Graduate school has complicated even further. I have really discovered myself more as an artist recently and it feels good! Once I get my tablet back from Wacom ( My new one pooped too, can you believe it? Luckily it was a known issue and was replaced immediately) I will start cranking out more art and hopefully comics! I'm sorry Toku fans for a second gap in the Toku series, I am but a man doing what he can to get by. -Mikey
