What up, peeps?
As a part of my plan to get more serious with illustration, I have decided to overhaul my webcomic, Overthinking It. I realized that the previous style was not as visually appealing as I would’ve liked, so I strove to remake it into something more universal.
New logo, new character design, new art style, the whole sha-bang. The only thing that stays is my sense of “humor”. I would love to hear some feedback on these changes, but if not, I hope you enjoy the series more than you did before.

Sorry I haven’t posted much art lately. The past couple months or so, I’ve been thinking of where I want to take my career, getting more involved with the art community, and making new friends across various fandoms I’ve only been dabbling in thus far.
As a result, I’ve made the big decision to finally change my username.
While there isn’t anything wrong with “ToonYoungster”, per say, it was a name I made on a whim while I was still a freshman in high school, and lately, I don’t think it’s a very good reflection of the kind of person I’ve become since then.
My new username will be revealed tomorrow. Please be patient as I begin to update all of my social media pages throughout the week. As always, thanks for following me and I hope to be more engaging with you all from here on out.

I recently started attending a boot camp for user experience design. As such, updates are going to be pretty slow for the next ten weeks. I'm hoping to get a comic out as soon as possible, though, so there's that to look forward to. Thanks for being so understanding!

Sorry I haven't posted anything recently. Between possibly going back to school, and/or looking for a new job, things have been pretty busy for me at the moment.
But not to worry. I should have a new comic up fairly soon. Until then, thanks again for all the views!

So it's been a while since I've joined ya'll here on Tapas, so I figured now would be as good a time as any to give a formal introduction.
Ahem...so I'm ToonYoungster. If you've seen my comics, you'll see that my real name is Mark. As my name suggests, I like cartoons. And anime. And Pokémon.
And comics.
That last one is particularly important seeing as I've finally gotten off my indecisive ass and made an official webcomic. Now given that for the longest time I've been a massive shut-in and I've always had trouble with so called "networking", my online presence is..touch and go.
But then I thought, "Yo, that's gotta change."
And so here I am. I have a webcomic, and I hope that by some miracle, there will be people here who might actually come to enjoy it. I try to update regularly, you know, like a "professional". You can also find my artwork on my deviantART page, if that interests you. I draw a lot of gijinkas.
In short, I'm new, I have an open mind, and I'm always up for making new friends. Feel free to give me shout out.
