SupportMax and David are a married couple who've formed a dark alliance to combine their creative powers in the service of creating goofy fantasy epics.
Together they are held responsible for the slow burn romantic adventure saga of Jack Beloved. The original concept and illustration is by Max while the story and words are by David.
Max has a background in Fine Art and loves animation, travel, music, and good food. He stands in awe of the majesty of nature, which is rad.
David has a background in psychology and earned his writing chops making Super Mario fan fiction in the darkest corners of the Internet. He is a tremendous nerd and it is dangerous to ask his opinion about video games. He aspires to write heartfelt, dramatic, and funny stories.
David also writes the fantasy novella serial Theo in the Whirlwood, which Max does cover illustrations for.

But I'm also super confused - we normally don't have in influx of people like this - so tell me, anyone who has subscribed in the last day, how did you hear about Jack Beloved? I gotta know!!

Currently we post two pages a week - and will continue doing so unless something very dramatic changes. But I am considering another way to present it.
Right now we post 1 page 2x a week. But I'm thinking it would be better to post these same two pages 1x a week. It would be the same amount of content, just presented at the same time.
I've resisted doing this before because It's helpful to get as much engagement as possible. However, I think it's likely a better experience for the reader to have two pages to read at once to sink your teeth into. I think we more reliable get a story beat down in two pages.
I want to hear your thoughts! Do you think a switch to posting two pages at the same time would be beneficial? Is that your preference? Comment below and let me know!
