[Tapas Insider] Tapas Comic Character Roommate

This is not the time to have a bad roommate! With many of us (still!) being at home most of the day, having a great person to share your living quarters with can make all the difference. We asked some of our team members at Tapas which comic characters they would like to have as their roommates for the next couple of months. From dangerous demons, to happy houseplants, to Tapamon themselves, everyone has a different idea about who the perfect roommate might be.

My Comic Roommate: Hana from Poem of Aster & Hana
Hana is a bookworm who streams poetry readings on "metube." I expect poetry book swaps (with full assurance she will take care of my book babies), all nighters debating literary theory, and ofc midnight snacks from her parents' convenience store to fuel our heart-pumping discussions. ;)

My Comic Roommate: Does Tapamon count? No? Then probably Nine from Beware the Villainess or Vicky from DPS Only!
Tapamon: Cute, happy, down-to-earth, good vibes all the time. Couldn't ask for a better quarantine partner to lighten the mood!! Tapamon is probably a good cuddle buddy. Same with Tapapup! Tapamon and I could talk about our favorite comics all day.
Nine: Protect this child. He is taller than me but, protect this child. I will smother him in all that is good and spend all my time making sure that he is happy and living his best life, though I dunno if being indoors all the time is the best BUT I WILL THINK OF SOMETHING! Pillow forts, afternoon naps, stove top smores, we will have fun.
Vicky: I feel like Vicky and I would really get along since we're both kind of nervous on the outside (living that imposter syndrome baby) but in reality we're generally pretty chill. It would be so fun playing games with her and I feel like we'd have a lot to chat about! Another character I'd love to spoil with all things good! Would go to all her stream sessions and cheer her on!

My Comic Roommate: Melissa from Beware the Villainess
Honestly, Melissa is such a genuine person and hella funny. Sometimes she's rash, but she genuinely cares about all the people around her, and gives even her "enemies" a chance. She's super funny and has a fighting spirit, so having her as a roommate during quarantine would be so entertaining. Also, we can make all those weird faces together and laugh ugly without a care in the world.
Since she has a weird brother, Nine, and now Yuri around her, we can probably expect lots of fun (socially distanced) adventures together, or maybe a fun tea in the backyard. Since I have a dog, maybe she can chill with Nine hahaaha.

My Comic Roommate: Hank from Lucky Coin, and Ah-Jiu from Birth of a Goddess
Hank: That boi can cook, is good looking and minds his own business, probably the only worry is whether he'll suddenly bail halfway through the lease LOL Would definitely enjoy the banter between Junior and him.
Ah Jiu: She's pretty cool and has a goddess system so it would be amusing to watch her interactions with Spirit, plus she's a beast master so imagine the magical pets we're gonna have in the house and the adventures we get to have indoors.

My Comic Roommate: Hm, maybe Buoy from Happiness Theory? He's pretty quirky and likes to draw, which sounds like a lot of my former roommates during college. Or maybe Kao from Mondo Mango, or CK from Name Pending, or both. Hahahaha.
Just an elaborate excuse to hangout with Kao and CK. Please visit. I'm so lonely...

He's a demon 😈 need I say more! Muahahaha... actually by having him around I can always feel safe since the scariest thing in the house is him.

My Comic Roommate: Anthony from Gender Roles
First off, Anthony seems like he keeps his place super clean and I totally can't keep mine very organized so he would definitely help in that department. Otherwise Anthony is fabulous and just seems like a ton of fun! We'd get to have lots of fun doing online shopping, binge watching TV shows, and talking about all his crazy relationship drama. Exactly all you need for a quarantine roommate!

My Comic Roommate: Honestly, any of the male leads from our Romance Fantasies. Duke Azentine from Soulless Duchess? Dreux from What's Wrong With You, Duke?
I just want a hunky brooding roommate who I'm destined to fall in love with, and we spend our quarantine days dodging death and betrayal until we suddenly catch feelings and our ship sails into paradise waters. I *might* be reading too many RFs... (Plus... as a secretly sweet male protagonist they will huff and puff over doing dishes, but they definitely would! :swoon:)

My Comic Roommate: Do autobiographical comics count? If so, definitely Meg from Comics Cats Cocoa!
Meg is positive, hilarious, and always down to get real! We'd probably spend our days making jokes about butts and our nights cooking something awesome alongside an entire bottle of rosé.
Plus, unlimited access to Boedy. (I swear I'm not just doing this for Boedy.)

My Comic Roommate: Sean from Magical Boy
I mainly chose him because he's a cute delinquent guy.
He also likes cute things so we can both geek out over small cute items and frilly fashion.
On top of that I feel he would be responsible about paying bills on time and be sure to keep his room clean. Sean does seem to be a bit of a doof some of the times so I'm sure there's be some funny moments to witness.
He's also great at catching things, perfect if I ever "accidentally" fall down or something :3c

Violet just seems like a super down to earth person who probably wouldn't be loud and inconsiderate and therefore perfect roommate material! ALSO there is a good chance that I would get to meet Dru, Violet's strange coworker, and I would be SO into that!
