SupportI'm a nervous, anxiety-ridden soul, assuaged merely by the existence of my five rescued dogs. My heart flutters with stories, and I often douse into a world far from modern reality. It helps me cope.
In my heart of hearts, I wish to create a story that will stand the test of time. A fantasy. This might also be one of the many reasons my chest hollows at the mere thought of fulfilling my dream.
I heard that Tapas has a loving community of readers. I really don't know. It took a lot of time and effort for me to feel convinced enough to do this. I guess I'll find out soon.

Not to alarm anyone. But I really wanted to give you guys a heads up on this. I've grown to love my readership here, and it's been one of the best things to have happened to me as a creator. A writer is only as good as their readers. So, yes. Thank you. ^^
This morning, I awoke to Covid-19-like symptoms. I've been running a mild fever. I've had a migraine, some weakness and body-aches. Some of the harsher symptoms have eluded me thus far. I plan to take a test in the coming days to see if this is just a seasonal flu, or if I do indeed require more care.
It could be nothing at all. But if I do suddenly stop uploading my chapters, do note that this could be one of the reasons. I'll try and schedule a few if it looks like I'll be heading to the hospital, or even if I'm on house quarantine. My girlfriend has been battling the virus for a week now, and despite all our cautions, there's always the chance that I may have contracted it from her. Fingers crossed on both of us recovering soon.
Thank you again for the immense support you've shown to this series. It's been a dream. And I hope it becomes big enough for me to turn into a webcomic some day. So I'll battle hard and try to come back soon. I know the curve's flattened across a ton of places, but for those of you still not vaccinated, I trust that you're doing well. And that your families are doing well also. My prayers to you. <3

Hello! I come with some news. And I didn't know how best to communicate this. There's some good turbulence in my personal life at the moment. I say good, because I wouldn't want any of you to worry. But it's left me quite stressed, to be honest. It's become increasingly difficult to write and do what I need to do, to manage two episodes a week.
After a lot of thought, I decided that it would be best to recede to a one episode per week schedule at least until the end of May. I considered a hiatus. But I started the year with a lot of energy and excitement, and I didn't want to feel like I had slowed down in any way on that front. I think this might be the best way to keep my mind charged towards the story, while also taking some pressure off my shoulders.
Honestly? My apologies! It's just something I need to do though. I promise to get back on track soon. Early to mid June, hopefully. Thank you for all the love. Cheers! ^_^

What's sad is that I'll probably be unable to share this love with app-exclusive readers. They don't have the wall, after all. :(
I only expected around 5,000 in total. But that's been exceeded by more than 10 times. I gaped throughout the affair. Haha. So, I decided to add a few other things to sweeten the pot. To share back the love.
1. An extra chapter this week. (3 episodes in total)
2. I'll commission art for a character of your choice. Feel free to drop it in the comments to know who you'd like to see. Daiden is already part of the cover, so maybe you want to see someone new? Rollo, Laella, Kir, or even some of the more obscure characters like Aaron, Zane, or Noah. The choice is yours. I'll leave it up to you to decide. I'll tally the vote count and begin the commission with a definitive answer. I'll wait the whole week before deciding, so everyone has plenty of time to think and make a choice.
3. This was my original plan, to do a Q&A. I wasn't sure about this because I noticed a lot of readers being unable to participate due to them being unable to use the wall. But given there are at least 10 questions, I'll make a detailed answer sheet and post it up as an episode. No pressure here. I'll probably do it some other time if the story development isn't on par to warrant ten questions.

Alright! Alright! I really wanted to do something self-encouraging for having hit the 250 subscriber mark. It's been a tough journey, and I love that I managed to make it here. I spent a ton of time finding the right artist to finally put a face to Daiden. And I wanted to time the moment with Chapter 65 as well! It's a turning point for the MC, and I wanted that to reflect on the cover, the art as well.
This is me pushing some chips in. I'm on Tapas, and I really want to stand toe-to-toe with some of the creators out there, visually as well!
