Hey all, tomorrow's update will be delayed, hopefully still releasing tomorrow but if not then by Tuesday at the latest. But after this next update, I'm going to be releasing episodes monthly instead of biweekly.
I don't want to keep making excuses for the lackluster update rate of the comic, making it longer and longer between updates, but things in my life have become drastically different since I first started the comic (we're almost at our one year anniversary!!) My personal life has exploded in the amount of things that I need to be responsible for, and so I've had to make the difficult decision to choose between which priorities I need to cut back on. After months of really trying to balance everything, there wasn't really another option other than whittling down the time spent on this comic. I don't want to stop making it, so my compromise is monthly updates. Thank you all for your continued support.

Hey all! Bosozoku Girlfriend will be going on a week hiatus. I've been accustoming to a new job and have been having some mental health issues that have been getting in the way of my artistic motivation. Next episode will release on October 6th! I just realized that I had forgotten to update you all on this week's update delay! I made the post on webtoon but totally forgot to post it here! I'm so sorry!
Initially, BOSOGF was going to return on the 28th, but while I was on vacation my car was wrongfully towed and impounded, forcing me to pay an exorbitant amount of money to get it back that I didn't have. This was a huge blow especially since I am going to be moving next month and also needed to pay a large amount for security deposit and double rent. As a result, I've had to spend most of my free time getting ready for a move and working on VGM and poster design for an independent game dev who was kind enough to send payment in advance. Because of this, this week's update has been moved to the 4th of August.
Thank you all for your overwhelming patience with me during a very chaotic part in my life. Next update will be the chapter finale, so it should be the longest update yet. Hopefully this will make up for the wait.

Hey everyone, I have some bad news regarding this week's update. Due to some personal life issues such as severe financial troubles, an inconvenient work schedule, a weekend trip, mental health issues, and a few other factors, I have fallen behind on this weeks update. I am doing everything I can to get it complete by Sunday, but the next few days I am going to be working non-stop so I may not have the opportunity to work on it.
I try to pride myself on consistent updates even when life gets busy for me, but unfortunately that can lead to weeks like this where I have even more than usual going on and can't find the time. I'm shooting for Sunday, but if I can't make it I will have the update up a few days late. This should affect the current schedule, and as an apology I will have the WIP thumbnails up for free on my Patreon on Sunday regardless. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

It was a really difficult decision but one that I think is necessary to maintain the quality of the comic. Having an extra week for updates will help prevent the quality of the comic from dropping, stop me from "rushing" updates when I have a busy week, and let me have a little breathing room to properly tell the story that I want to tell by having slightly longer updates! Thank you all for understanding and I hope this doesn't get in the way of your enjoyment of my silly little comic.

Due to a few reasons, my financial situation this month has forced me to pick up some extra shifts at my jobs. Usually, I'm able to manage my two jobs and working on the comic simultaneously, but this week, finding the time to work on the episode without sacrificing the quality of the product is unfortunately unrealistic. Especially since the next few episodes will be pretty important. I've also been experiencing what I believe to be the beginnings of burn-out, and so a break is needed so that I don't lose the motivation to continue the comic entirely (which is the WORST possible scenario lol)
I apologize for having to take a week hiatus so soon after the last one. Hopefully, this upcoming episode will be exciting enough to tide you over until the 28th. Thank you so much for your support!
