Phillip Vazquez is a senior at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an Illustration major at the University and is eager to break out into the field as a Comic Book Artist, Children’s Book Illustrator, Character Designer, or even a Storyboard Artist. He enjoys to draw, read comic books, being an all around nerd over Doctor Who and Firefly, look at art, and long walks on the beach. During the summers he works as the Supervisor Caricature Artist at Six Flags: Great Adventure; it’s his 7th year this time-round. All that can be said is that most of his life is just doodling. He encourages anyone out there to just draw what they love no matter how much some other people don’t approve, whether it be zombies, superheroes, cutesy characters, beautiful landscapes, silly disgusting things, or even good or bad anime. If it’s your thing, just draw it.
