Hi guys,
I'm writing this to let you know that I am going to restructure the chapters that are already available. This is because Tapas counts a view as one chapter read, and this encourages many creators to upload 1 page chapters to inflate the number of visits. For example, at this point, my first chapter of The Renegade has been viewed by 180 people, and it's a chapter of 35 pages. That means if I had uploaded 1 page per chapter, I would have 6300 visits for that chapter only.
I personally hate this method, because it bothers me to go through the ads after each page, but this method increases the views, which attracts potential future readers, who see good numbers and incentivize them to click and discover my work or any other.
That is why I have decided to make the change. But as I told you, it bothers me to see 1 page for 1 chapther, so I'll make changes to have between 5 - 7 pages per chapter.
That means that I will be editing the chapters and adding new ones to reach the number of pages that are already published, and for that reason you will be receiving many notifications during these days. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it's better to do it now, while the number of followers is low, than to do it in the future.
