Ainsley and Mirai's story in "The Taming of the Rakehell Husband" has officially concluded. (Exactly 1 year from its first publication date! Woot!)
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this story to the very end.
This novel and its characters mean the world to me. I poured so much of my heart into this journey, shedding many tears along the way. At its core, this tale has always been about learning to accept the love you so rightfully deserve. I am endlessly grateful to each of you for walking beside Ainsley and Mirai until they reached their safe harbor.
A tremendous thank you to the team at Tapas for helping bring my vision into the world and into the hands of wonderful readers. As an novice writer, my gratitude runs deeper than words can say.
A very special thank you to: Meg Kohlmann, Jesse Murray, Stephanie Cheng, Bendy Ceugant, QueenFrieza, Frank Pittarese, Kendall, Khaizusan, ZSJun111, Faalia, and Arusuko for all your invaluable support along the way.
To my husband, thank you for your tireless, unwavering belief in me through every draft and long night.
And to my dedicated readers: Your comments, love, and constant encouragement kept this story alive when I was on the verge of giving up. You carried me across the finish line.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
May our paths cross again in the next world I write for you!
(Also, huge shoutout to @khaizusan for illustrating such a gorgeous last look at Ainsley and Mirai for me. I'm so grateful to you!)
I hope life has been treating you kindly, and that you're getting to enjoy some warm summer sunshine—or have fun plans to do so soon!
Unfortunately, I have some sad news to share. Given the recent news that Tapas may soon shut down, "The Taming of the Rakehell Husband" might soon be losing its home.
Tapas has been such a special, creative space for all of us, and my heart goes out to every author and reader navigating this.
I'm awaiting more details about what's next for the novel and will update you the moment I know more. Regardless, the final chapters will be released next week, to properly conclude Mirai and Ainsley's story.

It is the month of ❤︎ Love! Our local chibi rakehell, Robin Ainsley— The Duke of Savannah, stopped by with his arch nemesis, Rin (our local foul mouth nine-tail divine fox), to deliver flowers to you beautiful ladies.
May you all find a Valentine this year! (Hopefully one who isn't a rake!)
Thank you to Faalia for this amazing illustration of Ainsley. ❤︎

Mirai and Rin wishes you happy holidays too! May everyone get plenty of yummies to eat!
