Good day my lovely fellows!
I really can say that my exams are over soon, therefore you can relax, there is more stuff to come soon.
The next week, sadly, there won't be any updates, because I am on holiday in a foreign country and won't have any access to either computers or my graphic tablet. I am very sorry for the upcoming delay, but after that I'll have much free time again! ;D
I felt like doing some really crazy shit for celebrating the first 30 pages, so I did a new banner for the series! I had to draw my trio infernale... ~.~
Here we go! Thank you all for your support! Stay safe and rock on!
Hi guys! :)
I hope everyone of you is doing fine and you are having a good time.
The matter this time: I want to upload more regularly than I am able to - at the moment.
The comic should be updated five times a week, but the next few weeks there will be one problem: exams.
Additionally, I have the privilege *cough* to write papers for two of my classes (one is for the same class I am doing this comic for lol).
To keep things short: the next time I have to keep up with studying and research etc. that I simply won't be able to upload five times a week.
THE SOLUTION: I really love this comic and the fun I have with it, therefore I have the bold intention to upload every second day (or the day after - if that's the case!).
Don't dispair. There will be regular updates - I just have to move my lazy ass once in a while! :D

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support!
In the meantime have some angry little grandpa and his drama queen. :D
Oh, thank you so much!! Really, people like you keep me going! I appreciate your kindness. Of course, the story will continue and I can promise, I am working on an exciting plot. ;)
Hi Guys!
As you can probably tell, I am a newbie on tapastic and therefore I still have to figure out how some things work around here.
To 'The Chicago Overcoat': The idea for this comic first started to spin in my head, as I had been confronted with an upcoming project in one of my art/history courses. Now I have the honor to get lost in piles of books about the prohibition era and the American Cosa Nostra. And, err, yes... I actually love it! :D
I try to upload as quick and frequently as I can and mostly that will work out...
You can guess, I am still playing around with the style in which I want to continue the story.
As for the rest... I welcome everyone dearly who is willing to follow my lovely trip through American history and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
It cut me off... That's what I am talking about... ^^ Anyways, there are so many opportunities to find something to do with your results, especially in the creative sector... I mean research is - like you said - a very exciting thing, but getting your stuff actually transformed into something to show others is a goal! I know that feeling. :) In which periods of history are you interested in?
:D I never liked history actually, because in school they made us learn it by heart! (yuck..) I just like to spend hours researching whatever subject I need at the moment. At my university I used to spend most of the semester finding every little detail about the given project, then I'd struggle with how to use the info and in the end I'd never have enough time to finish the design. I've fixed that bad habit luckily!!
Uhh, yes, that's a pity... :/ We had pretty good teachers - think that was essential in a science, which can by times be seen as a collection of boring dates and dead people nobody talks about anymore. Ah, but I am happy for you that you got that fixed! That is really a good move... I have so many bad habits, especially if you take a look at my preparation for my classes... Haha! No need to get into there any further...^^° Seriously, do you have any hints to overcome something like this?
Yay for good teachers and their significance in making history look fun! We had many of those, but on other subjects, NEVER on history! oh well.. :P Hints? hmm, I don't know.. For me the problem is that I am a perfectionist, so I have to know everything there is to know before I start the actual work. Soo, the solution was to realize that no one really cares about the preparations I do, rather the outcome! (surprise..!! haha!) So I decided to leave all the big projects and huge research for after university and be satisfied with something less, which to others, seems like more! (I hope that makes sense, English is not my native language)
Actually that's a problem I am facing right now... Crazy. I know the plot, I know the history (of course I am reading and reading and reading ;)) but there are almost everytime a few new details of which I think 'this is something I could have used elsewhere'. I have that worry that I am going to oversee something important I haven't knowledge about yet, go on and then – bam – there is the lack and I have to correct my mistake. Yes, but that's nearly everytime the same... the effort counts less than the actual outcome. Sad but true. Everywhere the same. :D And, yes, it made sense. No worries! ;)
