Night was cold as the baby slept in her crib.Her mother and father not knowing for whats to come but as they slept on.A stranger,blade in hand entered their home with intent to kill. 

The father caught the sent of the intruder and the blood of something familiar his pack,HIS packs blood.

His heart dropped and throat tightened.His mate sensed his distress and awoke,the sudden cries of their child caused them jump up with fear in their hearts.And they were out of their room to aid their little girl,Kylie.

They entered her room to find the intruder his red eyes glowing in the pitch darkness.Claws that glistened red in the pale moon light,shinning through the window.His sword  that had cut down many before aimed at the defenseless child below.The father was the first to react pushing the monster out of the way,completely ready to kill if necessary.

"Mary grab her and GO!"

"But yo-"

"GO!!!"

Without a second moment of hesitation she grabbed Kylie and ran down the stairs, out the door and into the night.
