Everything was dark and cold, her visions blurred and her head a little heavy due to sudden wake up , she stretched up and cracked a bone and looked at the clock; it was 12 am she's dismayed.
She frowned, and frowned, and frowned why on earth she had the urge to pee at the middle of the night?, despite being annoyed she ended up accepting the call of the nature and decided to stayed up till morning.
She brewed a coffee and open her laptop and starts writing, writing to finish the book she's working on for months and months.
Clock's ticking, an hour had passed, for the record she already finished three cups of coffee... she'll be having her fourth one this moment.
As she sips the last drop of her fourth coffee, she also reached the end of her book.
"Loving you was the best thing that had happened to me, never ever crossed my mind to regret every second of it... "
"Love, again. Goodbye "
"I love you. "

After she finished typing her book she leaned away from her laptop for a moment she raised her arms up and feel the cold atmosphere of the night.
It was numbing, the coldness numb her skin, " it felt like death is hugging me" she mumbled.
It was already 3 o'clock in the morning, she felt a vibration from the pockets of her jacket.
When she take a look it was 10 missed calls, from an unknown number...
"Who is it from? Can't be a wrong call though... 10 missed calls? ", she said and brewed her fifth coffee.
Something was off? She can't get the missed calls from her head.
She's having an anxiety and keeps on circling around the corner of her kitchen. She checked again the numbers from the contacts of her phone...Suddenly she felt worried something.
Ring!
The number dialed again. Her hands was trembling as she immediately answered the call.
"J—Jeanne?", a familiar voice answered.
It was her mom... but why?
She almost dropped her cup of coffee when she heard the words of her mother... her boyfriend was rushed to the hospital and was heavily wounded. She's needed to come in as soon as possible.
Whatttt!!!!!, she exclaimed.
The cup of coffee shattered into broken pieces on the floor.
Without a second thought, Jeanne grabbed her coat and ran. Traffic was unbearable, and the minutes stretched like hours. Desperate, she abandoned her car and sprinted the remaining distance. When she finally arrived, panting and drenched in sweat, her boyfriend's family and her own were waiting outside the operating room. Her boyfriend lay within, covered in blood and wrapped in bandages extremely wounded.
His mother pulled Jeanne into a tight embrace, tears streaming down her face. "He was waiting for you. "
She entered the room, her knees weak. She reached for his hand.
"Loving you was the best thing that had happened to me, never ever crossed my mind to regret every second of it... "
"Love, again. Goodbye "
"I love you. "
Those are the words let out by her boyfriend before he passed away due to too much blood loss from the accident. A cold wind as cold as what she had in her room, shivered and numb her skin. She was shocked and couldn't believed, what her boyfriend just said to her, shocked that she was able to reply a single word only tears rain down from her eyes.
She collapsed due to exhaustion and woke up a week later, staring at the memories of what she had just lost.
