Description
When the newly graduated journalist Judith Hale is sent on an internship program to the small town of Arwenloch, her goal is clear: to get a great report that would launch her career.
Her mission is to interview Vivian Morella, a once-renowned oboist that saw her life as a musician be shredded to pieces after a media scandal sent her spiraling to downfall.
In the past five years, Vivian has been battling a terminal illness, and has chosen to live her last days secluded in a small castle by the lake, drowning in solitude and the remains of a bitter past.
But when the opportunity to have the young journalist over arises, she sees it as a chance to confront the controversies that destroyed her, explain the deteriorating of her health and finally let the world know of the secrets she has kept locked inside her castle for far too long.
