Description
Selene Mejia is dead. Her daughters are left orphaned and without answers. Her will is unfinished, seemingly on purpose - leaving it up to the girls to embark on a journey to find out the secrets she kept from them, as well as to discover which one of them was always meant to receive her magic upon her death.
Meanwhile, in the northern mountains, Tessara and Desirae are about to take part in the Trials, a challenge to find who is worthy to take their place on the court that makes up their entire world. As the Trials go on, their home is taken over by outsiders, hellbent on finding a way to siphon away all of their magic for their own nefarious needs.
