The Northern Plaguelands are said to be home to Sorneith's finest necromancers, those that Mother looks down upon with pride.
Elesmouth, a kingdom of research and discovery, thrives at the center of the fight against virulent Ghouls, creatures frowned upon by Mother and cast away to die in their own disease, often turning towards contaminating others to share in their despair. King Fugax and Queen Charcot are the heartbeat of the Neutralization Project, a long-standing research program aimed to revive the lost practice of virulency mitigation.
But for now, the ghouls continue to multiply, and the Necromancers of Elesmouth can't guard the walls with Mother's diligence for much longer...she is displeased, the dragons say, and everyone is trying to find out why.
