Spongers are a symbiote species from another dimension. 5 Spacetronauts from the planet Spong pass through an anomaly and crash land on earth, in Australia. They have to depart their host bodies because they are dying. The only creatures around were a group of duck billed platypus so, they absorb into those creatures. They stumble upon Zhan, another Sponger who crash landed on earth and he takes them under his wing. He trains them in the way or the Perodie warrior, whose training is similar to earths samurai, thus they became the Adolescent Radioactive Samurai Platypii!
