One by one they displayed intact appendages.

Instead, she revealed a smirk as she chewed slowly. 

“Millie…” Lawrence said. 

Millie shrugged and revealed eight fingers and two bloody nubs. 

She grinned, swallowed, then said, “I got a little peckish.” 

Millie’s teeth were considerably sharper than normal. And they were covered in bits of flesh. Not all of it               her own. 

Lawrence took aim. 

“I’m sorry,” he said. 

“I’m not,” she replied. 

No one saw her move, but all felt her teeth.
