I see Noelle in front of me. On the other table in front of us. I don't let it bother me as I try to pay attention to Anton. He can't stop talking about how much he loves his Mexican side over the Korean one, though. I honestly don't care, but I'm glad he's part Korean. I can see Noelle right now in my head saying, "Need I remind myself to you that he's just going to get into your pants?" It's so her to respond that way.
"Alliah," I hear a thunderous voice calling me out.
"Owwie," apparently it was him doing it close to my ear. "That hurt you know."
"You're daydreaming," he sighed after questioning me.
"Sorry," I subtly look up to Noelle's table. "Hmm."
I swear Noelle was sitting right there in front of us. Where'd she go running off to? I stood up from our table and try to see any nearby restrooms. Anton got up as well but to only grip on my left wrist. I got a hold of my wrist again as I wiggled mine out of his tight grip.
"What are you doing?"
"I thought you like me," he coldly whispers in my ear.
"I do," I then told him off, "but not like this. I thought you were cool."
He scoffs and just left me all alone. He isn't worth it. I then heard a rummage by the stairs, like someone is getting something in their bag - or rather put back in their bag. I wonder if it was her, Noelle. I go straight for the stairs after turning around and running towards it. I stopped to a halt and saw her - her mask full of despair, sadness, never mind the river she has probably been spending time on.
"You were just at the table," I lightly became concerned. "What happened?"
"Nothing you can fix," her voice quivered.
I choose to sit by her, calm her nerves down. There was no one else around here but us three. So I became to wonder if it was Martin himself. Did he texted her and say something mean? I cleared the thought away and choose to soothe her.
"You know," I say with the most delight as I possibly could, "I've seen a look like this before. Maybe you're not into guys after all."
I end it with a smile while I wipe her tears away. She smiled back in return with a spark in her eyes. I let out a soft chuckle as I knew I made her a bit better. It wasn't working though, so I grab my handkerchief out of my pocket... but I wasn't fast enough.
Before I knew it, two shivering hands cupped my jaw and felt lips forcing onto mines. The slithering snake found its way in and met my own. My body is sending me weird signals as I just did it - my own met with hers. My eyes were still open as I'm still shocked at what is happening. Though my lips is saying otherwise. I don't know what I'm feeling but I can't stop. I just want to keep this going, not have anyone stopping us.
I woke my senses up, uncertain to what just happened. Wait a minute...
"Hey," I look around and see him instead. "Can you stop daydreaming for a bit and listen to me!?"
I ignore him and look in front of us. Noelle is still at her table as she herself looking quite puzzled at our direction. Though she has something else this time: an envelope. That alone made me curious as to what she has on her possession.
"Allie," Anton desperately demanded. "Look at me!"
"And what do I owe the pleasure," I smoothly came back to life. "Or are you getting bored talking about yourself to me?"
"How about I tell you about myself this time," I flirted my way back as if nothing happened.
Though before I begin, I took another look at Noelle one last time. There she goes writing something off on a piece of paper. I wonder what she's writing. Maybe I'll ask some other time. Right now, I'll just maintain my position and try to not think about kissing her lips. Oh wait, I just did. This is going to be hard for me as I'm literally right here between my crush and the girl who I have no clue what my feelings are for her!
