n a world where technology and the paranormal collide, there exists a 12-year-old girl whose fate is intertwined with forces beyond human comprehension. Her name is Emily, a shy and introverted girl, a prodigious computer beta tester whose insatiable curiosity and prodigious intelligence had led her to become one of the best of her age, being selected to test the first brain synapse to surf the net. One day she receives a mysterious link that led her to a dark corner of the Internet, becoming infected with a relentless cyber virus. However, Emily's restless mind was able to withstand the attack, and instead of being defeated, she underwent a unique transformation, disrupting her synapse and awakening dormant psychic abilities within her. She now being able to see beyond ordinary reality, her perceiving a hidden world full of spirits, demons and extradimensional beings.
In her new life, she will encounter disconcerting paranormal phenomena and other people who have also been affected, many of whom have been possessed by malevolent entities, struggling to maintain control over their own minds.
Despite her desire to avoid conflict and stay safe, Emily will encounter a wise and enigmatic shaman who will become her mentor. This shaman reminded him that her new ability was a powerful gift and that he had a responsibility to help those trapped in the dark.

Armed with her bravery and her innate sense of justice, Emily decided to help those trapped in the dark. As she progressed on her mission, she would discover that she was not alone in her fight.
