It was a Winter Day in 1998 in the Gregorian calendar, snow falling vehemently from the skies above. The World seemed unassuming as everything was covered in an icy cold layer of white, though among the frosty atmosphere life was thriving. Wherever you looked people gathered and passed along in their tracks without knowing what lurks within their midst. One might assume that society on earth only consisted of humans, although the conjecture was far from wrong it went way beyond what mortal eyes were able to perceive.
Many different kinds of beings concealed themselves within the haze of civilization. The paranormal and mythical were far from imagination since entities such as Ghosts, Demons, Fae as well as all kinds of Demi-Humans and fabled creatures exist. Aside from all the individuals prevailing within this world, there was one whose striking appearance has been especially alluring for humanity: Angeli —the feathered wings, plumis cornu— that reside within the heavenly realm far from even getting in touch with the fleeting life forms down in the mortal sphere.
Funnily enough even if they do not trust in fables, souls will naturally seek stability within the fantastical.
You may not have believed it, however it was the truth. Within this world many different dimensions and societies existed aside from the human world on earth itself.
I shall tell you about the different worlds and entities you may have encountered:
We have earth itself, which was considered as the sphere where mortals and short lived individuals reside. A plane with oceans as deep as the mountains are high and land far spread across the surface of those bodies of water where humanity settled itself. It is nothing special— a planet located in a solar system of the milky way that is filled with life wherever you might have looked.
Then there was the demonic realm, a big dimension —practically a parallel world as big as the planet earth itself if not even more vast. It was said to be dark and eerie filled with gloomy mist, but actually not all that different from the mortal world.
Many species resided within that other world and it was considered home to not only all kinds of demons but also ghosts and other spiritual beings and fabled life forms.
The ruling Individuals within this sphere were the 7 Clans of the house of Solomon: the prideful Lucifers; the wrath filled Satans; the gluttonous Beelzebubs; the greedy Mammons; the lascivious Asmodeus’; the envious Leviathans and the slothful Belphegors. There existed many branch families belonging to each of them as well as other independent clans of Demons; for example the many different Yokai and Yao from the eastern hemisphere.
Due to internal conflicts, not every day had a peaceful outcome in the “Underworld”.
Last but not least the domain above the skies, filled with light and warmth as divine energy spread throughout its boundaries: the heavenly realm.
Heaven extended far and wide across the continents and consisted of many different factions befitting each region individually. Among those many parties, one faction was especially widespread: the western beliefs.
It consisted of 7 sectors each ruled by one of the Archangeli closest to the almighty, with the 5 Seraphim at its peak.
We had the Archangeli and Seraphim Metatron the scribe —also known as Michael; Uriel master of fire and wisdom; Gabriel the agent; Raphael the chief judge of the heavenly court and the highest seraphim Seraphiel though he long retired from this position —his whereabouts unknown. The rest of the Archangeli were as follows: Jeramiel also called Ramiel, the gatekeeper of heaven; Raguel the esteemed Angeli of justice and Sariel the watcher, fallen from grace; he really was just a lazy and unlikable featherbrain.
Of course the heavens span a wide range and even more plumis cornu resided in the different sectors. Furthermore there are also the other factions on a similar level —though called differently than heaven— spanning across the northern, eastern and southern domains. Counting all of them would have filled a scroll longer than the ancient architecture of Lemuria lasted in time.
All of those different life forms were found within our small world filled with people of various origins.
And yet, here on this frosty winter day we found ourselves within the divine light of the heavens above, looking at one single individual Angeli residing in the 4th sector ruled by me, Uriel the seraphim of fire and wisdom.
And the name of said feathered wing was Hibriel —son of mine— and the attendant of the Divine Archives.
He was the Angeli that would cause an uproar within all 3 realms; with his foolish dream of living side by side with humans.
Though he might not know it yet alas his path across the rivers of fate was a cruel one to take.
Yet one crucial day his decision to descend down the ladders of heaven threw everything out of balance.
Maybe it was a mere coincidence or the goddesses of fate schemed against Hibriel in an attempt to harm thy humble self.
Though after traversing the mortal realm one fateful encounter with a certain human photographer was bound to change his life forever.
Now let us watch this journy, that foolish son of mine has taken upon himself, to find either ruin or happness at its climax. Maybe what he seeked would only occur in the most gruesome way as we pray for his safety somewhere hidden from the eyes of the immortal world.
