It's already been two years since it all started. Some people call it a new age, others call it the apocalypse. In my opinion, it's just a new way to survive the world now. There are barely any more survivors in this world from these virus infected creatures who used to be human. It's survival of the fittest, these creatures who people like to call zombies, walkers, whatever. They think that they're the monsters, when really, the monsters are really us, the ones that are still living, who still have a conscious mind. Before this apocalypse started there was already war, killing, stealing, you name it. But ever since the apocalypse happened, we've been making decisions that were even more crazy before this even started. Others started to sacrifice their friends, family, even their lovers if they're desperate enough.

Before people said that it was every man for themselves but now, it really is after all this chaos happened. We steal from those who really need it. We back stab the ones who trust us most. We kill even if they are still alive. So in reality, we're the ones who are the monsters, sure those flesh eating creatures are monsters, but we're worse than them, we don't know how to team with others when it's needed most. We just kill and kill and kill to where we start to lust for killing, just the thought of it exciting us. No matter how many times we deny how we kill others, deep down we're enjoying every second of just stabbing and bashing a body. We don't care if they're human or not, we just lust for blood, for excitement...for violence.

In this world it's either kill or be killed. We kill anything that's in our path, we have no sympathy, no empathy, no mercy, just murder. The world is even more cruel than it was back then, welcome to reality. In this reality you have to choose one or the other, there is no choosing both. It's either saving yourself, or saving others. If you're smart enough you'll save yourself and forget about others. In this reality you have no time to make lovers or friends, just surviving. Emotions are just a waste of space, they get in the way of helping you survive, it's better to just leave them. You'll never have to feel sadness, anger, happiness, or even love.

I thought these things a lot, I left my emotions. I told myself how I didn't need to feel anything, but that soon changed...After I met him...
