Welcome to Apollonia! The art style will change around episode 6 and I will include the translation of old western slang after it's said, instead of at the end of the episode a few episodes in.
When I created this series I wanted to capture the "Girls with Guns" genre from the early 2000s. There were a lot of lesbian coded "Partner" shows like Dirty Pair Flash, You're Under Arrest, Gunsmith Cats, etc. But I also wanted to have the flavors of some of my favorites like Cowboy Beebop, Trigun, and Black Lagoon. A story about bad guys that accidentally do good things.
