Today is my Deathday, and its 10 year anniversary.
Like today, July 12, 2008 was a stunning sunny summer day in the Vernonia forest, where a man assaulted and destroyed me. For a decade I've been lost in pain, and though the shadows of those trees will forever haunt me, I'm ready to look beyond.

Today I am taking back my life. When any choice of control is taken from you, it is fathomlessly difficult to find the will to take control again, but I'm trying to do just that. For ten years I have mourned the death of the child murdered in that forest. Now I'm ready to see how I can take these shattered pieces of self and fit them into an amazing future.

Today I publicly announce the beginning of my first ongoing graphic novel series, Arcane. Book one, Arcane Abyss, will be released in greyscale online. When it is finished, I will publish it as a physical book in full color. This project will take several years, as I turn my own world from grey to colors of hope.
