“Stop trying to figure me out, princess,” he said with a smirk.

With every step he took forward, I took one backward until my back was pressed against the door. He placed his hands on either side of my head on the door, leaning forward until our faces were merely inches apart.

‘Too close,’ I thought as my body burned with desire. It didn't help that every breath I took smelled like his vanilla cologne. Why did he have to smell so good?
