"So, how's your day? Do you need some coffee to stay awake?" The detective asked Wyatt, sitting down across of him.

Wyatt didn't respond. Instead, his eyes darted around the interrogation room that he was seated in. His eyes landed on the clock to see that it was already 3 AM. He felt a pair of eyes piercing through him from the glass mirror and his head whipped towards it. When his eyes tried to meet the owner, he was greeted by his reflection.

David started nervously tapping his finger on the edge of the table when he saw Wyatt's dark grey eyes boring into him through the glass.

Naomi shot him a worried look. "Are you okay?" She asked him.

David nodded stiffly. "Yes, I'm fine."

She raised her eyebrow. "Are you sure? We don't necessarily have to watch this."

"I know," David sighed as he rubbed his eyes. "I can't believe he got caught like that."

Naomi turned back at Wyatt. "So, all that about him working as a bodyguard was a lie?" Naomi asked, feeling a hint of betrayal when David nodded. "I can understand why you kept it a secret, but I thought that you'd also tell me about it."

David didn't respond to her. "I have my reasons why I didn't tell you about it," he mumbled after a while and he focused his attention back on Wyatt.

Wyatt's gaze was locked on his cuffed hands as he ignored the questions that the detective was demanding.

"Hey!" Wyatt's head snapped at the loud voice of the detective. "Are you listening to me?" No word came out of Wyatt's mouth. "This is hopeless," the detective sighed while he walked to the door. "Do you need anything?" He asked as he opened the door. Wyatt kept quiet. "Of course you won't respond," he muttered, going out the room. He closed the door and walked to David and Naomi.

"So how's it going?" Naomi asked.

"Pretty bad, as you can see," the detective replied. "Do you know where the captain is?"

"Have you checked his office? If he isn't there, then he must be home," David responded, observing Wyatt's every move.

"Why aren't you the one questioning him? It's so hard to get a word out of him," the detective complained.

"He'd bury me alive if he sees me right now," David half-joked. "However, I believe it's wiser to search for the captain."

"Alright. I'll be going then." The detective went to search for their captain.

Naomi glanced at David. She expected him to look depressed or angry, but she couldn't read the expression on his face. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing much," he replied. "But now that I think about it, it's just weird how different our worlds are. While I was in the police academy, he was already making a living off killing people." David turned his head to the side. "He told me why he's working as a hitman, but still," David muttered.

"A lot can happen when you grow up in the wrong environment," Naomi spoke.

"Maybe," David mumbled as he played with his hair.

Wyatt let out a deep sigh. "How the hell did I end up here? This wasn't supposed to happen. Did David sell me out?" Wyatt shook his head lightly. "David wouldn't do something like that." Vincent popped up in Wyatt's head. "For some reason, I have a feeling that he has something to do with this."

The door opened again and the same detective walked to the chair across Wyatt and sat down. "Could you tell me what happened seven months ago, around the time that you first met David?"

David stood up more straight to listen to Wyatt's story attentively.

Wyatt's eyes shifted to the right as he tried to remember what happened seven months ago.
