Introduction

I did have plans of adapting this story into a comic, but I was planning to do it once I wrapped up my other series, Lior. Given recent events though, I’m super bummed out and decided to work on something a lot more lighthearted (despite the darkish intro lol). This is short, sweet and fluff, all whilst touching on things that are important to me.
That being said, I wrote this short story when I was 19-20, and it's been a while, so some of the dialogue will be updated. The story itself will remain the same.

From what I've seen, for some artists it's better to switch between projects to keep a fresher look on things so it's still stimulating and not getting old. Whatever works best for you! I love your art style so either way I'm getting to read great comics with great artwork put into it 💚

Mars looked like her dad. That's what her mother told her. She spoke like her dad and walked like her dad so she might as well have been her dad. Her mother treated her that way anyway.
She knew it wasn't her fault or her mother’s. Bad things happened. Bad things happened often. But as long as there was a way to make music, Mars would be alright.
August - September is a short story about a siren who falls in love with the ‘wrong’ person, a story of mistaken identity, and a shared passion for music. Kinda trope-y, kinda cheesy, but sometimes that’s what we’re in the mood for.
