Follow the exploits of Crawford Stone, Zane Jonson, and Jackie Steele in navigating adult life in a world where people with special abilities, known colloquially as exos, are the every day norm. Crawford’s life is one of stress to the point of becoming numb to it, the same things day in and day out, grumbling “Just make it to tomorrow, just make it to next week” like a mindless mantra. He could keep all of his plates spinning, if he just avoids anything catastrophic. And he does…until he’s blindsided by a path of destruction that lands him on the morning, afternoon, and evening news after a “harrowing brush with disaster”. He’ll soon nearn that this literal and metaphorical upheval will drag more than his personal life into the light of day.

By Any Means is a coming of age story for queer adults, late bloomers and any who were held back by life’s circumstances. A 90s and 00’s inspired light sci-fi story with drama, action, with at least one car chase and maybe a little arson.
