Sometimes a black line is replaced with a pink one.
Playing in the band, regular hangouts at the rock bar, medical school where you’re just ticking off the box for a pointless degree—it’s all just part of the routine for Rysya. He doesn’t blink at the sketchy job his best friend hooks him up with. He’s long since gotten used to his meddlesome brother sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. And the constant run-ins with jocks at his usual spot don’t even faze him anymore. For Rysya, life is cool as long as he’s making his rock music and his close-knit circle of friends stays the same. But in the blur of grey days, there’s one that stands out: the day a beaten-up guy—an unforgettable splash of color—steps into his life. Hang on, have they met before?
