"So you lied to me again is what you're saying." Yelled Devin throwing his hands up in the air.
He was over it, over everything. He couldn't take any more lies from him.
"I didn't lie, just didn't tell you everything."
"Oh so hiding some of the truth isn't lying anymore. I guess I missed out on that memo."
The both of them agreeing that honestly was all they truly asked of each other. That being open and upfront was the only way Devin could be in a relationship at the time, he couldn't handle being fooled and used again.
"Devin, it's not like that." Pleaded Hunter, knowing he fucked up real big this time.
Devin was hurt, he hurt so deep in his chest, feeling it grow tight making it hard for him to breath normally. Pressure building under his ribs turning his back to Hunter, he couldn't stand to look at him. Trying to focus on his breathing so he could fight off the panic attack that was starting to set in.
Devin knew very well what a panic attack felt like battling anxiety all of his life. It always won too, just when he thought he had left him it would come rushing back with new and worse symptoms. Fingers tingling then going numb that feeling making its way up both of his arms as he stood there.
"Not telling me you were married and had a love child is lying."
"I was married but not anymore. Haven't been for a long while. It was something stupid I did when I was young and confused, I only did it because she was pregnant. As for the child she's not mine. The timing just doesn't add up right, but you know the media loves to twist things for a better story."
Throwing shade to his newly found fame in the world. Around the time Alexis did get pregnant they were in a rough patch not really seeing each other at all and he was in a dark place in his life so when she came crawling back to him late one night he fell for it. Not even a week later she said she was pregnant but she was clearly further along than she led on because she gave birth just over six months later.
"I didn't think it would matter now, you know I love you. Only you."
Hunter wasn't trying to come off like he was lying about anything. To be honest those things never crossed his mind, being married to Alexis didn't mean anything to him, and she wouldn't let him see who she claimed to be his own daughter no matter how much he tried. So as shitty as it might be he gave up on it. Why keep working for something when all you got was shut down, giving up wasn't something in his nature but this time he did.
"You don't keep things like that from someone you so call love. Someone you promised to be an open book to." Devin spoke, looking over his shoulder at Hunter.
Devin has been hurt so many times in his life one would think he would grow used to feeling the way he felt now, but if anything every time just felt worse than the time before.
Hunter sighed heavily running his hands through his dark curly hair, rock star hair is what most people called it because that's what it was. The perfect wavy curls, bouncing in a cute manner even for a man of his size standing at a tall 6'2. Face square, thick brows, strong chin, perfect nose, large broad built shoulders, abs for days, slender hips with the V-shape so sharp it hurt to look at in the low rise jeans he loved to wear.
Honestly Hunters body was carved out of marble if you were to ask Devin, everything was perfect, chiseled, well taken care of. Even with all of that it wasn't what Devin loved the most about Hunters body, he loved his eyes. They were the first thing he noticed about him, this hypnotizing silver grey color that looked to be unreal but were all him, the smudge out eyeliner he wore that smoked out the grey. The grey did change on the mood he was in like right now they were dark and haunting in it's shade because he was upset. However that didn't mean they were any less stunning and beautiful to him.
Most days he really did question what Hunter saw in him, wondering why he would ever go for some like himself, he was nothing special. Devin was a little shorter standing at 5'11 with black hair that he wore short on the sides and long on the top slicking it back out of his way, slender in his frame no where as built as Hunter but Devin was solid. Personally feeling that his arms were too long for his body along with his legs but Hunter stated otherwise. Green eyes that stay a deep forest green never changing with his mood, with an honest sad look to them. His face was slender along with his nose fitting his face well but slightly crooked due to it being broken more than once in the past. Devin wouldn't say he was unattractive but he wasn't anywhere near the level of hotness Hunter could acquire or the right sex.
"I just . . . just didn't think it mattered."
Well they matter obviously but they didn't matter when it came to Devin and him. Devin was his world just he couldn't see that now wondering if he ever would. No one has ever mattered as much as Devin did to him, no one.
"It matters to me." Devin turned back around now looking at Hunter. "To me it does."
Hunter could clearly see that Devin was sensitive to so many things but that's what he loved about him. Devin felt so much, so much he could no longer feel. Letting his fingers curl up under Devin's chin as he moved closer to him, quickly warping his free arm around his waist so he couldn't pull away from him.
And he wanted to pull away too, still so angry with him but his body also reached out and greeted the touch. Devin loved the feeling of warmth Hunter gave him.
"You're the only thing that matters to me. My past is my past, that's where I like for it to stay. You're my present, my future." Hunter smiled weakly at him. "My everything."
Devin hated how smooth Hunter was at talking but what would one expect from a rock star who wrote all his own lyrics, a poet at heart with a rough tough outer shell that excited Devin in more ways than one.
"You're everything?" Stated Devin coming around in the moment really wanting to believe it.
Believing Hunter right now was what he wanted but it was so hard with everything that they've already been through in the short time of knowing each other. Hunter's life was a hard one to work around so many people saying what to do and not to do.
Hunter smiled nodding his head yes in agreement, that smile growing wider as he felt Devin press into him more dropping his hand from his chin as he leaned in letting their lips meet.
"I'm still upset." Spoke Devin under the kiss telling himself this conversation wasn't over yet.
Hunter pulled away only for a moment to speak, "I can change that real quick."
An evil look appeared on his face before leaning in for another kiss, hands pulling at the front of Devin's jeans clearly showing what he had on his mind to make things up to him.
( Well that's how the both of them wished the fight had gone that night. Let's rewind and start at the beginning.)
