Kai Valois, the prince of France, the perfect embodiment of a young man, polished, refined, civilized, holds a dark secret that almost nobody knows, not even his own parents. He’s a werewolf.

Lucella (Luce) Cade, is an orphan with hidden gifts, thrown out by her stepfather her after mother dies, living on the dirty plagued streets of 14th century Paris. She hangs onto life by the thread, scavenging whatever she can.

As Kai and Luce’s paths intersect, they discover sinister plots, an unexpected betrayal, and worst of all an enemy they don’t know if they can stop and if they fail to stop it, the whole world will collapse into darkness. Will they make the right choices, or will one mistake ruin everything?
