“In the outskirts of our world is a rather special school. It was created in order to welcome students with increased sensitivity to «flux», an energy recently discovered in the scientific world. The students are able to use this energy to create or modify the laws of Nature. There are 7 catego- ries which are taught and trained to help young people master these skills in order to change society and to contribute to the common good.
The rules are simple: each student follows his studies in his sec- tion and must make every effort to expand his or her control of the flux. Each section occupies an area of the school; courses take pla- ce in these areas and there are seperate dormitories. A section is thought out and designed in order for it’s members to have exclu- sive access to everything they need to exercise and develop their own flux. Therefore, it is not recommended to visit the other sections.
The only time students can meet members of other sections is at the end of the course. They must go to common baths, a place of rest where it is forbidden to use flux. The baths are not mixed to prevent accidents or harassment and ensure peace and security.”
