He was a man that carried a career in contracting across the "Grand Fortress" since the beginning - offering out his skills in battle to countless clients when the coin warranted the time - cutting down men and monsters throughout the streets, a performance written in blood and a most fitting reward soon collected and swapped between blood ridden hands that saw the streets a little better and a little more safe when it was all said and done.

His name was Cassian and now the current night saw him setting out and collecting a new contract on a monster running through the streets in the "Slummer's Height" sector, a small challenge to wade between the countless beggars and the countless more criminals hidden out among them to find the monster in the streets, running between the worn out buildings that were most across the streets, and the countless tunnels beneath the ground home to man, monster and heretic all the same, a challenge that came with an excellent reward.

However it had been a little more difficult to find the creature when it's trail lead into a massive crowd witnessing a hanging, and more difficult when men soon came ridden with panic in seeing Cassian best a demon without so much a struggle when teams among the "Night Guard" would fall to them and purchase their win with the blood of their fellows.

How it had been more difficult when the contract soon became something more than hunting down one creature, and soon became a hunt for the pact bearer between men and demons, leading into deeper and more troubling circumstances, with the "Night Guard" seeking him out and the horrors in the night doing their best to evade him, Cassian continues the hunt to clear them out, more than determined to see the contract complete and monsters dead at his feet.
