My eyes open, confused about where I'm at. I look around, in the distance, a cat sits up in a tree. I walk to the tree and the cat jumps down, landing in the grass on all fours. It gives me a confused look. I go to pet it but it scurries away, quickly into the distance. I run after it, through the meadows covered in flowers. It leads me to a tree stump, it hops onto it and sits promptly, all straight, it's two green glassy eyes stare at me as if I wasn't even there. I go up to pet it and I let it sniff my hand. The cat then puts up its paw like it's going to give me a high five. I press my fingers to the cats and I begin to feel a weird tingling feeling in my legs. I suddenly fall down, helpless, my legs are numb, and I can't stand.

“Why,” I murmur. The cat smirks at me, and twists and turns eventually forming into a girl with long brown hair, freckles, beautiful glowing green eyes, and wearing dazzling clothes. Stunned I blink making sure this is not just a dream. Nothing changes. The girl lets out a soft whisper.

“What?” I ask.

“I said do you know what I am?” the girl says a little louder.

“No, no I don't.”

“I'm a snow-furry,” she says.

“Um I don't mean to be rude but what's a snow-furry?” I ask

“Oh, that means that I can turn into any animal upon request. But If I change too much I will turn into a blobfish till the day I die. Being a furry comes with major consequences” the girl says.

“Oh, that's neat. So if you can turn into an animal upon request may you please turn into a dragon and fly to my house please?” I ask genuinely.

“Ah yes, most definitely”

The girl changed into a white dragon with blue crystal diamonds going down her tail, and small splashes of turquoise on her wings.

” where do you live?” she asks.

“I live on 44th st NE in Pharma,” I say. She doesn't reply and starts flying towards my house.

Once we got to my house the girl switched back to human.”I-I should get going” the girl says.

“No, you can stay,” I say frantically.

“Um...ok I’ll stay. I guess,” she says cautiously.
