Korra knew how to not be afraid.

For Avatar Korra, every passing day spent at the isolated White Lotus Compound is a day closer to fully fledged avatarhood. She might’ve not had grand adventures like her predecessor, but her life had been planned out successfully up until her last element, and suddenly Tenzin isn’t available to teach airbending.

Korra has different plans than the instructions to be patient and wait for the situation in Republic City to calm down, and decides if Tenzin can’t teach her in the south pole, she’ll just have to learn the element farther north.

But Republic City soon turns out to be different from what Korra imagined, with rude citizens, rampant crime, and a possible cult leader who believes in the annihilation of bending. Korra will need all the help she can get to stand up for the truth, but in a city shrouded in lies, how can she know who to trust?
