Description
Rose, the protagonist of this story, has a single goal in her young and forgetful life: to become a "Controller" or one of the highest authorities who regulates and secures the "new world" hit by a "psychic pandemic" that has transformed a large part of the world population in people with paranormal powers whose strength depends on the intrinsic willpower in each individual.
Although her adoptive mother had repeatedly advised her against this type of path Rose is too intent on pursuing this goal, convinced of her powers and eager to be able to contribute to the "cause" of the Nation of control and protection of people who have not suffered this anomaly.
