Legend has it, that long ago in a dense forest resided a cozy wooden cabin. five years ago, four high school seniors went to that cabin to spend their summer vacation there but never came home. One day, the parents of those students reported to the authorities and started a search party in the forest. The sun was setting and the night crept into an eerie atmosphere, but still, they pushed forward. Suddenly, an officer exclaimed. The other officers rushed to his aid, but would soon regret it. They saw the officer, paralyzed with fear, looking up into the tall trees. The officers couldn't see into the canopy so they shone their torchlights. There, they saw them, the 4 students, hanging from the trees. One was beheaded. Another was missing her left leg and right arm. The last two had their eyes gorged, blood flowing down like tears. The horrendous state of the missing students left the officers struck with fear and grief. The mere sight of the students made them sick to their stomachs. Some started to vomit. Some felt lightheaded while others felt their hearts had stopped briefly. The mixed stench of vomit and decaying corpses even caused some to collapse. Though in all this turmoil, in the corner of their eyes, the unaffected officers saw, or at least thought they saw, the perpetrator. Those that were able to move chased after him but after an hour had passed, the other officers knew that something had gone wrong. They gathered whatever courage they could muster and, once again, traversed the dark and eerie forest to look for their comrades. That night, 31 officers went into the forest but by sunrise, only one made it out with his life. But he eventually took his life. The sight of the students and then of whatever horrors he had seen with his own eyes was too much for him. Since then, authorities cautioned that that part of the forest was forbidden for anyone to enter. Ten years have passed since that incident, and it seems everyone has forgotten everything that had transpired in that forest of evil. Like that night, years ago, four high school seniors wanted to spend their summer vacation somewhere special. Would they be able to survive the night at that cabin or would they meet the same fate as the students before them?
