Marinette sat down and curled her knees up. All she could do was cry as the darkness of the night sky surounded her. Her mind wondered, going over everything the past week..

She had woken up late. It was just another day. She ran into class late and the teacher scolded her. As Marinette walked up to her seat, Chloe stuck her foot out and tripped the poor girl. Marinette fell weird and ended up hurting her ankle really bad. "Are you okay girl?" Alya, her best friend asked. Marinette inspected her foot quickly. 'Probably just a sprain' she thought. "I'm fine." She fibbed, smiling at her concerned friend. "Ha! Wow Clutzy-nette. You really are a talent." Chloe let out, laughing evilly. Alya glared as Marinette just looked down. She didn't have enough energy to deal with her after having to deal with the akuma the night before. Alya and Marinette returned to their seats as the teacher groaned.

Chloe took out some paper and started to scribble on it. When she was done, she waited till the teacher's back was turned to throw it at Marinette, making sure to hit her square in the face. Confused, Marinette uncrumpled the piece of paper.

"Hey Morn-ette. You're such a klutz, I bet it's true what they say about you. You're a freak! You know, I don't even think that suits you anymore. You're a fool, an idiot. I can't believe I'm forced to breath the same air as you. You should just disappear forever. Everybody would be much happier that way. You stink of failure. Can you even walk like a human? If not, just go back to your own planet. Everyone would be much better off, if you just left forever."

As she finished reading it, the bell rang. Marinette stuffed in her backpack and ran off. She was numb to these things. She always tried her best to be anyways. 'There just words. No reason to be upset by this. It's just words.' She thought to herself. She was in a bathroom stall trying not to get upset. Tikki just sat on her shoulder, trying to give some comfort. 'Why is it always Chloe that gets to me?'

Finally calm, Marinette stood up and checked the time. 'Period's almost over.' Luckily for her, she had a study hall. "Are you okay now Marinette?" The little kwami asked. Marinette just smiled. "I am now." Tikki smiled back, glad. Hiding her kwami in her bag, Marinette started to run to class when she got a painful reminder she was hurt. "Great." Marinette groaned. Careful not to put to much wait on her foot, she walked to class.

Just before she could open the door there was a loud crash. "AAAAHHHHH!!! AN AKUMA!!! RUN!!!!" She heard somebody scream. "This soon?" Marinette looked at her kwami confused. After making sure their was no one around, Marinette called Tikki out. "Come on, Tikki SPOTS ON!!" And with that, Marinette transformed into Ladybug. Feeling stronger, She leaped to the roof, ignoring her foot. Adrenalin rushed through her at the sight on the akumitised victim.
