Only Dionysus reached the farthest amongst the Gods even if many of them have dwelled amongst mortals for eras. He was followed by nymphs, satyrs and fauns that formed his Thiasus, gathering around him women and changing them to maenads, faithful retinue willing to follow him through time and into a silent and wearing war. Valtha was the first tyrrhenian woman chosen by God.
She left her mortal life to band with this God’s cult: she has been alive for the last 27 centuries, where she has seen the rising and setting of her people, the Etruscans, before they were even named. But at a certain point the God and his Thiasus had to part for a long time.
After hundreds of years of silence Dionysus belief and its own life are at stake… but his fall would mean all of his companions demise too. Now Valtha, who survived the passing of time in an ever-changing world, lives in Florence. After a long time spent alone, separated from the Thiasus, her friends and from her mates, one of Dionysus’ most faithful satyrs, Siro, reaches her. If the God they have followed isn’t found and tended, He will vanish bringing every one of them to their doom. In front of this cryptic offer Valtha has to choose whether or not she should re-found the Thiaso, reach Queen Ariadne and find Dionysus before He is found by... less friendly figures.
