As Winslow’s new reputation leaves her questioning herself, her choices, and her faith, she has a lot to process within the culture around her. Will this help her see that there are more paths to joy than she was led to believe?

Many aspects of this story come from my own experiences being raised within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There is a message at the beginning of the story to better explain that complicated and nuanced relationship. I also go into further detail on my Instagram for anyone that is interested.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to engage in thoughtful, respectful discussion on church topics in the comments, because I know there’s a lot of bad stuff (in addition to the good) that comes from this church, and much of that will be brought up in this story. However, hate speech of any kind will NOT be tolerated, nor will any talk of the LDS church being a cult. You can have that discussion somewhere else if you desire, but not here.
