A rumor is spreading throughout the royal courts that the House of Montari is cursed, for every knight that receives the honor of Sun Guard dies within the year, without a visible cause. High Prince Ephraim Montari, the next in line for the crown, doesn’t believe in curses, but he does believe in conspiracies; someone is killing these knights, but who, why, or how remains a mystery.
