This was submitted for a one-shot original comic competition, and the theme was "Perseverance."
It didn't win anything but it got featured in the host's Facebook page.
This story has connections to Birch Chaps due to a certain character. We were limited to 20 pages max and I feel like I rushed the end. I decided to only color half of the pages on this one too and just partially colored the rest.
This is a story about "Valkyrie Units," basically a potential replacement to Cyberkinetic Soldiers detailed in Birch Chaps as all-in-one super soldier that saves planets.
This research does not have the same care as it had with the Cyberkinetic Soldiers but at least the project is kept private by a Megacorporation.
This is Val's story on how she rediscovers herself and the world built around her.
