Description

Hands chained in front of him, being dragged along by a grumpy soldier. It wasn't exactly the way Cassian had planned to spend his day but he didn't have much choice in the matter.

Cassian is part of the minority being hunted down by the King's men for the strange powers he was born with after a curse was placed on the land by the late Queen. When the few with powers start to lose control over their unnatural abilities the King orders his men to dispose of them by whatever means necessary.

Being forced to work as part of a trio wasn't in Cassian's plans but unless he wants to become an experimental plaything for the royal soldiers due to his supernatural healing capabilities, he'd better learn to get along with his comrades - and fast. A grumpy older man and a crafty younger woman wouldn't have been his first choices. Being a wanted man tends to limit you.

With the King seeming eager to cover up whatever it was his late wife had been up to deep within her private chambers it's going to take the three of them putting their differences aside to even get close to the truth. Their individual abilities spiralling out of control, the King's men closing in and a dark secret hidden underground... What could go wrong?
