Description
When Vala woke on the forest floor, she knew nothing - not her name, not her origin, and certainly not how she came to be in the middle of the Orenna Forest lying next to a handsome stranger. Rescued and named by the Mages of Medoreno, she finds herself at the center of a prophecy and loved by a god whose expectations of her are overwhelming.
Just as lost is Ashwin, the stranger who woke up next to Vala. Though he has no memory of what came before that moment, the Left Hand of Namulin who rebel against the Mages has taken him in, named him, and deemed him their Herald. Despite his reservations, he cannot deny that a voice whispers to him in the dark of a world that needs change.
Caught up in a conflict that extends through eons, their fates intertwined, the two must choose to accept the roles granted to them by the gods or fight against destiny.
