The year is 2019, a group of anarchist renegades are living in the desert in the west coast outside of the booming metropolis, Battery City, the U.S. capital run by Better Living Industries, an evil corporation built around eliminating human flaw. With fast cars, ray guns, and their hearts set on setting humanity free, the Killjoys race across the desert, fighting BLI and being wild.
