In a post-apocalyptic future where old mythology has returned to the earth, Choros, an illiterate 17 year old, summons the Lord of Death, Thanatos and his son Pluto. After a great misunderstanding, Choros ends up becoming the new Il Guardiano delle Spade (Guardian of the Swords). She is responsible for cataloging and summoning the "spade" or swords used by the Lord of Death to separate the souls of those passed, and peacefully send them to the Underworld.
