Seuntak-Ho's kidnapping

Seuntak-Ho's kidnapping

Nov 06, 2025

Seuntak-Ho was the CEO of a cosmetics company, his career was at its peak.  At this exact time, Seuntak is drinking refreshing tea in the cafeteria.  The company's tea is purchased by the company itself, taking great care to choose quality tea.

 - Hey, Seumin-Seo.  Please come here.  - Seuntak speaks calmly, waving for her to come closer.  He was sitting at a table holding the cup at a specific angle trying to examine the liquid inside the mug.

 - I'm sorry, Mr. Ho.  Is the tea you're drinking not to your liking?  - Her hands fidget while holding a menu plate.

 - No, it has a pleasant flavor. What I wanted to ask is did you buy new cups?

She looks at the cup intrigued, it seems like she has no idea that they were exchanged.

 - Oh sorry.  Mr. Ho, I can check if I have any others in stock.

 - It's not necessary.  Thank you very much for doing a great job, to tell you the truth.  We had been using the same cups here for a while and we needed some new branding.

 - Oh, thank you so much!  Mr. Ho.  - She speaks excitedly, he nods his head nonchalantly.  She leaves bowing and goes back to work.

Seuntak looks at the tea he had just drunk without realizing it.  He goes to the cashier and pays for the tea he consumed, even though he was the owner of this company.

Then, he went to his office.  Today the day would be difficult, in the middle of the way one of his employees stopped him.

 - Mr. Ho, we have a problem!  - He speaks nervously.

 - And what is the problem?  - He says noticing the employee's condition.

The man breathed some time before answering, his eyes trembling.

 - Someone broke into the company and is looking for you!

That left him in shock, what did this person want?  Why did he invade the company now?

 - Call the police now!

 - We've already called, they're coming… But, what if it's too late?

Seuntak-Ho pacified the man who seemed to be having an anxiety attack.

It seems like the police would take a while, Seuntak decides that the best thing to do is to use his own hands to deal with the criminal.

 - I'll look for him.

 - Hang on.  Mr. Ho, it's very dangerous!  - He seemed a little scared.

It was a dangerous job, but the lives of my employees were more important than his own safety.

 - I'm going to be fine, don't worry.

Seuntak-Ho smiled, waving dramatically at the employee.

 - Be careful, Mr. Ho.

Seuntak searches through the entire company, and the criminal seems to have disappeared.  After more searching he decides to go to the bathroom to wash his face.

 - What a pain.  - Seuntak rinses his face.

A strange shadow appears behind Seuntak, it was similar of a man. before Seuntak can realize it he falls unconscious.

 - W-Where I am?!  -

Seuntak-Ho wakes up in a rush with a bag over his head being carried by someone.

No one responds, which makes him even more scared.

 - Hey, let me go!  - Seuntak shakes himself trying to free himself from the hands of the man who was carrying him.

The man seemed to not want to release him or let him go free.  Seuntak manages to free himself, he takes the bag off his head and the next thing he sees is a completely unknown place. There were rasin-color trunks that glowed with fireflies landing on their thin branches, illuminating a kind of clearing that emanated an indescribable type of light.

- What, where am I? - Seuntak-Ho looked around, thinking how this magic is shining before his eyes.

- You're in purgatory. - The man speaks in a serious dark tone.

There was no way this man was lying, but Seuntak-Ho couldn't believe in the man's words. Seuntak wonders if he had heard the man well.

- In what?

- I won't repeat myself, Seuntak. Your life ends now!

Seuntak becomes terrified when he sees the man pulling a pistol from his waist, his first instinct is to run as far away he can from the man, but somehow he slowly gets closer and closer and feels even more terrifying.
- I can't die! - Seuntak says as he rushes through a more dense part of the forest.
- You need to die. If you don't everything will be ruined. - The man reloads the pistol.
Seuntak stumbles, the man stops in front of him and points the pistol at his head.
- But what's the reason?! What did I do to deserve this? - Seuntak asks, his hands shaking terrified of the man.
- Aah, you really are a nuisance! Your soul's have a specific time to exist within a body, somehow you extrapolated this time. - The man speaks irritated, touching his temple with the tip of the gun.
- Time? Wait what is that supposed to mean? I didn't even know I was exceeding my life span or something like that? - Seuntak-Ho screams both in confusion and fear. The man did not seem bothered.
- I can't die yet, not today, please. Not this way! - Seuntak-Ho pushes himself from the ground running away from the man, he sprints as fast as he can.
Each step feeling like a chain being slammed on the ground, each sweat as a needle falling on a fabric shoe, each breath like iron, each blink like closing your eyes for the predator. The man on the opposite seems to be calm, walking through the woods as if he knows this place with the palm of his hand, making loud noises at each step.
- See, you're running away again. You always ran. But this ends now! - The man points the gun at Seuntak-Ho who is still far away and shoots a bullet.
The sounds of the gas expansion was the last thing Seuntak-Ho saw before feeling a deep pain in the back of his head and a peaceful white ambient around him. It felt like a dream, as if he was falling from heaven.
- Huh?! - Seuntak-Ho was actually falling but not from the place he thought he was, the ground was a few meters away.
He felt a cart bellow him with a few feathers it hurt like hell falling from so high even though he landed on fluffy bird wings, he looked up to the sky wondering from where he had fallen.
-Where I am? - Seuntak puts his hand in front of his face to protect himself from the sunlight.
Seuntak-Ho looks around, this didn't seem like a place he knows, everything felt like he was in a much old era but also didn't feel like it, he couldn't describe it well. But what was more unsettling was that everything was destroyed.
- Am I in the medieval era? But what is this red fog?
It was in ruins, objects like carts were rotten as if they had molded in the rain. Seuntak walks slowly, trying to understand what was happening.
- Hey, who are you? - A soft voice suddenly appears, it is melodic.
Seuntak tries to look for where that soft voice is coming from, until he feels someone on top of him.
- Tell me, stranger. What is your name? - The man speaks softly, but his expression is a little irritated.
Seuntak observes the man, he had long, light hair, his eyes looked like the Andromeda galaxy. It was as if he was seeing an angel or a fairy.
- It's Seuntak, Seuntak-Ho. - Seuntak speaks softly.
The man shows surprise, he had never heard a name like that.
- Seuntak? What an exotic name. - The man gives a light laugh.
Seuntak-Ho blushes, this man felt so etheral.
- And you? - Seuntak looks at the man. Feeling a slight throb as he takes in his features.
-Peng-Xiang. - The man speaks softly, Seuntak-Ho seems to be shocked.
- Is that really your name? - Seuntak-Ho laughs lightly.
- What it was? You can go by stopping outsider Seuntak-Ho. - He pulls an extremely sharp and detailed carved sword.
- I'm sorry, I tried to hold back but. - Seuntak can't complete it, for him it felt like he was on one of that Chinese fantasy stories. Peng-Xiang watches him with an impatient face.
- What are you doing on the streets? - Peng-Xiang asks Seuntak, pulling him to stand up.
Seuntak-Ho took a while to asnwer, he didn't exactly knew why he was there.
- I died. - Seuntak-Ho stares at the ground, seeming to not understand how he's completely fine.
- You what? - Peng-Xiang stares at Seuntak.
