Suffering from amnesia as well as a mysterious heart condition, Prota is full of angst. Day after day, he has to witness the innumerable people around him who have been suffering from ailments ever since humanity was turned immortal. He invented gadgets to help the people in his village as much as he could, but eventually, it became too much. He decided that if he wants the suffering to end, he has to take matters into his own hands. With his best friend, Tiki, he embarked on a quest to find and stop the person who cursed the world with immortality.

But once he meets his arch-enemy, Anta, he can't help but be pulled towards him by a mysterious magnetic attraction.

Anta's an inventor who lives in a tower made of magic gears off the coast of a deserted island. Solemn and lonely, he forever mourns the loss of the man he loved more than life itself. After losing Milo, he created the immortality machine. He set it into motion as soon as he was able, thus making everyone on the planet immortal... But there was a problem. It didn't prevent old age or illness. In fact, it seems as though more people are growing ill than before. Anta watches over people from afar with his magic telescopes, wishing he could do something to help them. He's in the process of working on a resurrection machine... his true goal and only hope of finding happiness in his immortal existence. He hopes to one day bring back his beloved, yet, somehow, he hasn't had any luck finishing the machine. Something is missing. He needs someone's help, and that someone is Prota.
