Description
Emeline has struck a bargain with the Demon Aamon in order to save her life from the guillotine during the Reign of Terror. Now begrudge she is tethered to her supposed savior as the two work in shadow to uncover some nasty truths of the French Revolution, and the people pulling the strings. In the end Emeline must ask herself, are these people more monster then man, and how many will she have to cut down before this ends and her soul is eternally claimed by the demon she strives to fight away from.
