Caller: Umm Hello? 911?

Operator: Yes-

Caller: I swear this isn't a prank call, okay, just hear me out. I was up late drawing, and I was using some scratch paper from my old trigonometry homework. I don't know what happened, but a couple of lines went over some equations and… er...

Operator: I'm sorry, how is this an emergency?

Caller: Well it kinda summoned a dragon into my room.

Operator: Is this a prank call?

Caller: No! I swear, look, I'll even give you my address, it's 223 Meadowlark Lane, please send someone over. I shut this thing in my closet but it sounds like it's gonna bust down the door and my parents are out late. My little sister's down the hall and this thing might hurt her!

Operator: All right, I'll send someone. Stay on the line. *Click* Hello, Officer 57?

Officer: Yeah I'm here.

Operator: There's a call from 223 Meadowlark Lane about a… *sigh* an accidental summoning of a dragon.

Officer: A what.

Operator: I know, but they gave an address so …

Officer: Okay, I'm pretty close to there, I'll go talk to whoever about proper use of emergency lines.

Operator: All right. *Click* Hello, boy?

Caller: Yeah?

Operator: I've sent someone over-

Caller: I hope they hurry, there's cracks in the door. Hold on, I'm gonna put my dresser in front of it.

*Sounds of something heavy being pushed, along with thumping, scratching, and growling. There's a faint cry of a young girl.*

Operator: ...What was that noise?

Caller: Sorry lady, my sister just woke up, I have to-

*Something loudly cracks. There is a deep roar*

Operator: Hello? Hello? *Click* Officer, are you almost there? Something is wrong at that house.

Officer: I'm pulling up right now- what the…

*More sounds of something breaking, a creature roaring, and flapping wings*

Operator: Officer? Hello? What's going on over there?

Officer: I see it. I don't believe it.

Operator: See what? ...don't tell me there's actually somehow a…

Officer: It's scaley and blue and two legged and bat winged and the size of my German Shepard. And it's flying out of the roof. If that's not a dragon, I don't know what is.

Operator: ...kind of small for one isn't it.

Officer: Really? That's your reaction?

Operator: Well what do you say to something like that- oh hold on, I'm getting another call. Boy, what a night for Christy to take sick, huh? *Click*

Huh, don't know why the font is split like that.

Once I figure out tapas novel format, I might publish some more traditional style stories on here. Who knows? But for now, this bunch has been sitting in my documents for awhile, might as well post it. Hope you enjoy, random stranger on the internet, and thanks for stopping by!

A series of 911 transcripts from a small town on June 21, 2000. You know, the day magic appeared. Follow along with the Operator and many others, as they try to carry out their jobs, help people, deal with various supernatural issues, and not die, in a world that seems to get more confusing and dangerous with every phone call answered.
