Beast demons have the soul of an animal within them. Even if they can't remember their former life, certain instincts remain.
Just like with Sitri here.
Because a leopard is also just a big cat, and cats love to chase things just for fun. Even though he knows it's not the best idea to chase the tail of Vine, his superior. But there's nothing he can do about it, except hang his ears guiltily and chew on his prey in embarrassment. XD
